Clarifying eBay’s 1099-K Experience

Native Advertising That Earns Attention
TEDxSanFrancisco needed an email campaign that could build momentum, communicate the value of the event, and convert interest into ticket sales. As a core part of the marketing strategy, the six-month campaign used timely audience messaging, speaker-led storytelling, and compelling calls to action to give prospective attendees a clear reason to take part.
I planned and wrote the email journey, combining event information with clear calls to action at each stage. The campaign maintained sustained audience engagement, helped sell all 1,000 paid tickets before it concluded, and contributing to six figures in ticket revenue. Beyond reaching a sold-out event, it built anticipation and a stronger connection between the program and its audience.
